I coded a snippet gallery a long time back, and just recently decided to clean it up and enhance it 
Just after some feedback on what people would like to see in it.
It currently has the following;
- jQuery expand and collapse feature when viewing snippets
- Administration area uses class based jQuery tabs.
- Configurable color styling for highlighting your code
- Pagination with configuration
- Breadcrumb navagation
- Tags functionality
- Show the number of snippets per category E.g. php Category (4)
- Graphic based Date badge
- user input is filtered and sanitized
