Just curious about something.....this site and Nukecops both have a way of showing the link that I am on as HTML instead of the typical fashion for phpnuke:

Code:
/modules.php?name=Forums

Your site shows it as:

Code:
/forums.html

How is this being done? Obviously this helps site security somewhat does it not? Just never bothered to ask how some sites are doing this......

Thanks in advance.

Using the Apache module mod_rewrite. We use Google Tap (GT) to rewrite the URL's to make them more search engine friendly.

Thanks Raven! Seems like if I had to go the .htaccess route (and not the http.conf route), then not only would it increase server CPU load (according to the docs), but could increase the load time of the site, correct?

Yes. Anytime you put logic in .htaccess it's a little more each time. At my site, GT adds maybe .06 - .10 for heavy pages. No big deal, to me Smile
