Thank you nuken, i am looking at the screen here waiting for such compliments.
I dont want to be how say, selfish?
But depanding on the credits i get for making this , is equal to continue it.
when i dont get satisfaction of what i'm doing , i go do something else.
i can remember day's i didnt had to look at the screen for such compliments, they where "normal".
When i see the first results while i was intregrating the new oscommerce to nuke, aloth came clear to me.
It is time the whole nuke community get theire things together and move to a OOP orientaded cms.
It isnt that much work , you only shouldnt be woried to loose your users.
A real cliënt would stick to you , and new ones still come. |

There are only two carts in my opinion which can take a cms to the next level, that is Virtue Mart and OS Commerce! congratulations!!!

i'm awaiting a confirmation of a godaddy gold account balance , so i can make a new osc2nuke site, the current server isnt in my hands, but the domain is.
As long nono(another osc2nuke dev) dont show up, making a desicion is hard.
Nono deserves a loth of credit to what i achieved , even if he wasnt around the past 2 weeks while i made the intregration.
I also dont now if he still want to contribute to osc2nuke.
I say this becouse formaly we made osc2nuke together , and now i did it on my own.
for me it is a major step in coding, something nono alway's tried to explain me.
and i see now he's right abouth all.
I also want to apoligize to raven and it's users that i make so much posts and use it's forum for all my story's , becouse i could give the feeling i become irritating to him and you. |

wHiTeHaT, you are very welcome here, as are your posts and other contributions , so no apologies are needed! Also, I would be happy to host your account. Check out for an idea for some packages.
Also, is that package available for d/l? |

Hello Raven , thank you for the offer.
I just moved osc2nuke to a godaddy hosting account.
i never used godaddy , so i first go give it a shot.
There isnt any content availeble yet for the new osc2nuke site.
For your question abouth the package:
The package isnt for downloading yet.
The reason is couse of the oscommerce is still in a alpha stage.
So not even a BETA or an RC (Release Candidate).
i go try to update current osc2nuke version to the current RC 2.2a version of oscommerce.
This will give users some room to still keep using osc2nuke while awaiting oscommerce's v3.
There is a loth to tell abouth version 3 , but best to tell is it work so far really wel in raven's version.
Ofcourse i will put a demo page real soon.
But it could be that i need to go adapt raven version ( or in my opinion nuke's structure) abouth some things.
The main thing that disturbs me is the theme part , i go try to strip it out completely.
and then go further module by module.
I consider i will also remove the your account module and use oscommerce login instead.
I also try to plan to OOP the most common modules.
To keep nuke alive it needs aloth of changes , with all respect to your work , it wont last this way.
To many nuke users already moved to different cms systems , and they arent to blame.
i wont say that with my changes ( if i succeed) all becomes better , but atleast it open doors. |
