module help

hi guys

ok i have some self created modules and am trying to get them to work with RN Very Happy

i tried adding

{

}

require_once("mainfile.php");
$module_name = basename(dirname(__FILE__));
get_lang($module_name);
define('INDEX_FILE', true); //comment this out to hide right blocks
if (defined('INDEX_FILE')) { $index = 1; } else {$index = 0; } // auto set right blocks for pre patch 3.1 compatibility

include_once('header.php');
OpenTable();

// html code with echo statements here

CloseTable();
include_once('footer.php');

?>

but this dosnt show the rblocks on the right hand side rather it shows them on the left ??
where have i gone wrong

that looks good to me, it's might be a theme or html problem, check your page for compliance errors. which theme are you using?

also if I'm writing an html page I like doing it like this:

OpenTable();
include('myhtml.html');
CloseTable();

rather than echo-ing all the html in php... but thats just me. also allows you to serve up different pages for users

include('myhtmlforusers.html');

include('myhtmlforanony.html');
}
CloseTable();

just write html page in xhtml and place inyour custom module dir, making sure only to include what is inbetween the body tags, as the head and body tags will be generated by rn.

and thanks for the tip about diffrent users that was something i was gonna ask a bit latter on Razz
