Yah, may sound a bit bazaar but there are reasons for everything. 
If I have the forum post ID, say 32218 for example, is there any way to see which users have read/accessed it? Or in the case of anonymous, the IP? |

There is a phpbb mod for that. You would have to Google it. I am not sure what it is called, but it exists. |

Try that. I don't think it logs the ips of anonymous users, but I don't see what that would be necessary. |

Actually I was after anons as well to see what their reading prior to approval. We'll see how this one works and go from there. But of course once they register it becomes a moot point.
