News/Article problem

I have just done a new install.
Once I post news from the news module it posts ok but there is no area to modify or delete the current news that I posted.Not even in the new module.
Has it been relocated ?

Should be in the Articles/Stories Administration but its empty even after news articles have been posted

I nuke evolution sight thas it ok in the proper area but its not under this version of raven.

The articles should appear at the bottom of the admin area when you first go to admin. Last 20 Articles. If not, something either did not upload correctly or it is theme related.

When you view an individual article on the right handside as an admin you should have the option to edit that article.

yes thats right.
However there is no articles listed there even though I have 1 news post there.
I tested 4 themes and all of them dont show it so im at a lost what happened

So when you are logged in as admin and click on read more or comment link, you do not see an admin edit link?

If you do not see the edit link when logged in as admin, you will need to reinstall you news module. Something must have not uploaded correctly.

make sure you didnt program your story for a future date, or forget to put it in a category....

another thing to check is that the admin is the god admin or if not that the admin account has news selected in permissions.

If the admin is either the god admin or has news checked in permissions and it still does not work, just ftp the news module from your computer to your site.

Please verify your email address as all your email is bouncing. The error says mailbox unavailable. After you correct it in your profile I will need to reactivate your account.

Raven I fixed that account up with a new email though I am using my other account I didn't know I had. However when I logged on to Preacher i was logged in and logged out at the same time and unable to see the forums.So I guess you need to activate that account now or something.

Anyway back to the problem guys I have made progress
Like someone said earlier I had to click comments on the actual news article to get the following screen which I found the admin edit and delete ability Very Happy

However shouldn't I also have the ability to edit any new from the following area?

no it's on the main admin page at the bottom
