Hi All,

I'm busy sorting out my Christmas Holiday chores and will be looking at up grading my two websites. Have you yet got an idea of the release date for the fix pack (2.30.01). Is it likely to be before Christmas. If not I will probably go with v2.30.00 version and try to dig out all the changes.

Thanks

John Confused

Nobody knows the real date.
But the trends are for many software releases 1-2 days before christmas. Smile
I personally donīt like such a release date.
Between christmas and new year or the first week of january is much better I believe because there isnīt so much stress like before the 24.12. normally. But we will see.

Normally I would agree if I didn't have the inconvenience of having to hold down a full time job, hence I only have holidays or weekends (minus time taken up with chores the better half has me doing) to do any website support Sad

If it was me, I would go ahead and do the 2.30 version. The next release will be an update that will easily be able to be added in, or always has been in the past. Are you upgrading from a previous version of raven? If not, would recommend doing a test upgrade using xampp with a backup of your working sites database, just to work out the kinks before doing the working website..... Very Happy

Yes I will be updating from Raven v2.20.01 just didn't see much point in spending valuable time updating to v2.30.00 and then have to do the same again a few days later to bring it up to v2.30.01 If its going to be a couple of months before v2.30.01 fix pack is ready then I will upgrade over the Christmas break (time permitting) and wait until Easter for the fix pack upgrade.
