I would like to change the "Big story of today" block to a block that shows the "big story of the week" or "Big story of the month" as we do not post news every day.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks.

You could use the Last 5 Articles block, but reduce to just show 1, or 2 articles.

I'm pretty sure "Big Story of Today" displays the "Most Read" story of that day, and how often you post news doesn't have any effect on what the block displays...

Yep but it would just show the last article, right? Not the "top story", which I'm assuming means the one with the most views.

Yes but if there is no post made today there can not be a most read story of today, right? So if I post news 2-3 times/week, most days will have no top story. If the block displays the top story of the week or even month, there will always be a top story.

If you look at the code for that block, it is pretty simple, so take a stab at it Wink

So I'm guessing this is what I'll have to change?

$today = getdate();
$day = $today["mday"];

and

(time LIKE '%$tdate%')

or what?
