using Zeda-XD theme and RavenNuke(tm)

I went on a trip this past weekend and access my website on my registered account (the one with admin access, I have two who both have admin access and neither one of them is working)

I can log into my site but I can't see the Admin module along the left. This was not the case before I went on vacation. I took my computer with me so I was on someone else's internet accessing my god admin accounts on my website

I'm not sure what is wrong - no IP's are being blocked I can still delete and edit forums like a Moderator but I can not access Admin panel to do some work I wanted to do.

Any ideas?

clear all cookies, point your browser to yourdomain.com/youradminfile.php type your admin username and password, try to login and post back your experiences.

I have mozilla firefox so when I closed it I checked cookies and had it cleaned and then went back in and logged into my user account on the site which I usually do most my Admin work on the site as and the admin module didn't pop up again.

the admin file is usually admin.php, if you have not change it.

You have to be logged in as admin to see the admin block. enter yourdomain.com/admin.php and try to login with your admin info.

Says PHP-Nuke , Problem with MySQL server it says. But I don't access my admin panel from that

Basically I haven't changed anything with my site in the past week. After I found the PM messup in the theme code I fixed that.

Basically i'de get on my website, log into my account on the site (Zeda-XD theme btw) and on the left i'de have an Admin module where I could click on administration.

From administration I could change blocks, modules, forums, news, etc etc so I log on now and I have no problems on the site at all but I don't have my administration module

How could it break like that lol

You have to log in as an admin (yoursite.com/admin.php) not your user account to see the administration/waiting content block. The administration part of the block checks to see if you are logged in as an admin, if you are not, then it will not display.
So to repeated the previous question, what happens when you go to yoursite.com/admin.php
Can you log-in?

It says PHP-NUKE in big yellow letters, then says : There seems to be a problem with MySQL server, sorry for the inconvenience. We should be back shortly.

Doesn't make any sense because it is RavenNuke i'm using. And whenever something messes up I go back and backtrack and undo what I did except I haven't messed with the MySQL servers since a week ago when I had the PM bug. Anything I should look for in the MySQL server?

This is MySQL Version : 5.0.51a-community

Now : Clicked on MySQL Databases in the CP

Look : Only have one database : aeonicst_nuke1

Done : Clicked "Repair DB" no change in Administration module, still not there

Look : Says "aeonicst_nuke1.nuke_nsnst_admins OK" when I look in the database

It means either the database settings in your config.php are wrong, or your server's database user/password have been changed.

So look into config.php and try to fix it? Any suggestions?

And I only have one database that the website is on so I don't think I have a evolved-gamers.com/admin.php page or anything. Anytime I wanna make edits to admin stuff I just accessed administration page from the module on the left that shows to all admins.

That no longer is there. It was working on Thursday then I left for vacation and got on my website on my computer on someone elses internet then brought my computer back to my house on Sunday and that is when I ran into not being able to find the administration panel (I was going to make it so users couldn't post porn on the forums without registering, which would fix our porn problem lol)

Hmmm. that you can use the site with no problems and even login as user but when accessing admin.php you get error with database makes no sense for me. It should work on all or not work anywhere...

Running short of ideas Confused

Okay I fixed it.

instead of evolved-gamers.com/admin.php

The first one worked and I was able to find and repair the module. Now the administration works and I believe the cookies were just messed up since I logged onto the admin panel on the site from another IP address and then when I went on my old IP address it was logged out of admin.

Fixed and thanks for the support.
