My site was working fine last night. Then today I go to it and try to login and can't. The site just continuously goes back to home page. Even when I click on other pages (ie, /modules.php?name=OTHERMODULE), it takes me back to the home page.
I have cleared my cookies, cache, etc. and even tried from another computer. Also, a few members of my site have emailed they can't login either. Am i missing something? Please if anyone has any clues as to what this is let me know....i have never had this happen and have no idea how to proceed to get it working again. Thank you! |

Maybe check the database authors table if there is a new admin added this meas your site is hacked.
But the members can normally log in. So turn on error reporting. |

Hard to say without error message. Iwould just do what you already did and run a database omtimize and repair too. Maybe the nuke_sessions table is also broken.
I donīt use 7.9 therefore I donīt know if loops are normal in this version. |

Check your .htaccess file in the root of your webite too and see if there is anything "suspicious" in there that looks like a generic redirect. |
