hey there , thanks for pointing me this way raven and might fine place you ve got here Smile

my problem is that i installed nuke in a subdirectory. /lomac/nuke/html
while the main domain name brings up and index.html that redirects to the nuke sub directory.
can someone please help me in creating an index.html or index.php that collects the http refers to my site ?
otherwise the module in nuke would be rather useless as it is only collecting http refers from

(my domain)

any way would work. if i have to resort to something outside nuke to collect the refers that d be fine too of course i would prefer to use the nuke integration as it would allow my admins to monitor where our traffic is coming from as well

thanks in advance !! Very Happy

Hmmmm. Normally people are redirecting from an external site. Let me test my fix to see if that will work. I will get to that later today, hopefully. Have you considered just moving it to your root? I can help you with that if you need help.

i am notsure if that is an option because my root folder is httpdocs and nuke sits and operates from a folder html. if i move the content of html to httpdocs to have index.php executed straight from the domain root wouldnt that sutff up all the paths in nuke ?

if not moving would be an option. then again shouldnt it be possible to write to the nuke tables from a php page outside the nuke installation ?

maybe that would be the least complicated way.
what do you think ?

Not at all. You only have to make 2 minor changes in Preferences and Forums/Configuration and all is the same because it is all relative to the SiteURL and DomainName settings.
