I have a site that is pretty heavily modded. It is still running 2.02.00 and there is nothing wrong other than my host recently decided to disable the nobody user on the web server...thus killing my automated email system.

I am running the newest RN that has TEGO nuke mailer and this works wonderfully to get around this issue.

So is there a stand alone module much like TEGO mailer to do SMTP mailing outside of the forums? Or am I gonna have to update to the newer Nuke and rework all of my custom mods for the newest version?

Thanks!

phpnukemailer 2.0 is a complete alternative as well... using phpmailer instead of swiftmailer as backend
get it at:

While I am definitely one for "choice", which is why I created the TegoNuke Mailer alternative to PHPNukeMailer, in this case, since themadhacker is already on an older RavenNuke, and, thus, may upgrade later on (HIGHLY recommended BTW), I would suggest sticking with the Mailer that would come with that upgrade.
