Ok even raven uses the bad words filter but, they are completely useless.
For example the word 'd amn' in many ways just by modifying the A:
dámn
dàmn
dãmn
dаmn (unicode #1072)
dâmn
dämn
d@mn
dåmn
dămn
dąmn
dǎmn
dǻmn
dаmn #0430
dạmn
dảmn
dấmn
dầmn
dẩmn
dẫmn
dậmn
dắmn
dằmn
dẳmn
dẵmn
dặmn
You make a list of millions of words?
P.S. If you don't see all A's then you have a stupid Operating System Setup: |

Hi djmaze,
So the suggestion is to not use it? Fortunately, most people aren't as bright as you - if they can't find better language to use, they're probably also too lazy / stupid to look up these alternatives. |

@VinDSL: ROFL welcome back!
I see you didn't loose your sense for humor.

Well, not completely useless . I filter very few words, honestly. Since all the posts here are in English the filters work for the most part. This is because most everyone who posts here respects my rule not to use profanity. Also, the posts here are mostly programming-centric. They have real answers and are not prone to opinions/discussions/dissertations/etc. And they have to be registered to post. If someone does pop a vulgarity in, it's usually "for the moment" and it's taken care of.
With the exceptions of you and Vin I don't usually worry . But get you both posting in the same thread and I am having to take more medicine to keep me awake long enough to monitor your posts!
Seeing/Having you both here is like old home week! Recently I even got a PM from Sixonetonoffun! |

djmaze, my comment was actually what we call here in the States "tongue-and-cheek". It was actually a joke... was contemplating what all the types of responses that you could possibly give to Vin's post and I started to worry about how much filtering I would have to do manually. |
