I was looking for a IRC chat apllet... any kind will almost due. The hard thing is finding out what they are capable of.

I was trying to find one compatible with ravennuke 2.2 most seem like they will fit. But the thing im looking for is an option where you can change the server to a different server in irc. Mostly its because most teams perfer Quakenet and most of the ones I have demo'ed are not quakenet and they do not allow me to use /server qakenet command. I was wondering if anyone else knows of a irc applet that will allow me to change the server inside the code or add it in a dropdown box?

Sorry for any inconvinance.

Just an FYI: you might want to check with your host to see if that's allowed - often it isn't.

Usually you can't run your own IRC server on a shared host, but sometimes you can connect to another server with say, a Java app. But it depends on if your host allows outgoing connections.

Im not planning on running a irc server just connecting to one. I was thinking of a java app but I have seen a few and dont know the spacifics of any of them. I wish mod builders would put a little more discription on the downloads page. I saw one on someones site but the site was hacked by samba. So I thought I should stay away from that one.

The only thing I really need is to be able to switch to different servers inside the chat applet. Also change the defult server the applet joins.

I know nothing about IRC modules for PHP-Nuke, but I did see a non-Nuke Java app called PJIRC on someone's Nuke site. I have no experience with it either.
