I have a heavily moded 7.2 site, but nothing really "tricky", just various add-ons I thought were pretty cool.
My question is (and I realize this is vague) Are the majority of these patches to files I would not have fooled with in my modifications, or completely new files that won't overwrite anything I currently have in place?
My point is that I'd like to try it out, but not at the risk of having to redo 99% of my mods. |

Just download the appropriate fixpack and look at the files that are touched. They usually touch critical core files and modules so the chances are the answer is "yes they to". |

Thanks for the quick reply. I've got fortress and UTC installed. Hopefully that will be enough since I don't have any problems with malicious users. (knock on wood) |

I can assure you that that is not enough. Those protect against specific issues that leave other exploits wide open. |
