Raven, you have those here and I was wondering (anyone?) how would I set them up on my site. I could not update my site without some weird things happening to the forums.. so I would like people to be able to read them. thanks.

I need it to be available in conjunction with a working forum. Raven's appears to be in a module. That is what i am looking for... but I am not sure how to do it...

I originally ran my phpbb forums stand alone and at the time the integration process had not been developed or it was too much of a hassle. So, when I upgraded nuke I chose to just run my old forums in an iframe and started over with the integrated phpbb forums.

Yours are not the same. Yours are from an integrated nuke to an integrated nuke. In other words you need nuke. I guess I don't understand why you can't use them? Last I heard (when we chatted) was that you would run the sql upgrade scripts in order, update your ftp files, and that should work. I've done that dozens of times for people and never had 1 problem. What went wrong?

I know it has been done before but with me the same issue continued to crop up... I insert them and then when I go to create a new post it sticks an entire older thread onto the beginning of it. I do not understand seems to me at least something to do with incrementing. If there is anyway you could look into it I appreciate it..

Have you done this?

BACKUP EVERYTHING Smile
Delete ALL nuke FTP files from your site. Don't just overwrite the ones you have.
Drop the 7.2 database that you have.
Restore your 6.8 database
Run the upgrade sql scripts in order.

yes. I did just that per our discussion yesterday I of course probably did something wrong though. I now believe that me back up 6.8db was a fouled upgraded 7.2 db I really do not know where I went wrong but all I know is that I botched it and there seems to be now way for me to fix it. i am fine with the forums starting over I just wanted folks to be able to read the old ones. Next upgrade I will do much more carefully... Embarassed

On the subject of archiving forums... I'd basically like to prune all my forums but instead of just nuking them like phpbb seems to do i'd like to archive them all. Is this possible?
