Would it be possible to have a Warning page as a pre-cursor to a block? For instance I have been blocked from a couple of sites running RN plus I have managed to inadvertently block myself from my own site (relying on PHPMYADMIN to bail me out!) due to triggering some rule.

Therefore I was wondering whether some code could be added in the future to display a warning page the first time a rule was triggered by an ip address and then if the same rule was triggered again then the ban or whatever else has been set would kick in?

I am trying NOT to ban legitimate users from my site when then make a mistake.

For instance, just yesterday I was looking for some support for my NUKESEO module which was displaying an error. I entered the error into the NUKESEO search field and got a permanent block. D'oh!

Anyway, just a suggestion.

Paul

Good suggestion actually. Not a trivial enhancement, but a good one nonetheless IMO. Each blocker should have an additional switch / option to "Warn xx times before BAM!".
