I had the above working fine, then installed NSN Mailing List 1.03 (not sure if that is relevant).
My Fancy Newsletter will send emails with no problem but it won't now archive in the database even though I have the Default Options set to archive as HTML and in the database. The HTML is there ok and if I put an entry in the SQL table manually, it shows up on the Archives page but on send it just won't go to the DB. I've had a look at the code which certainly says what I would expect. Does anyone know how this could be happening. I've amended a couple of the files such as the template and one other but if I reinstall the originals, I still have this problem.
Thanks

Just curious - have you tried archiving in the database only? |

Yes, that doesn't work either.

Anything in your site's error log? It could be a difference between the structure of the database table and what the application is expecting, or a permissions problem? |

There's nothing in the site error log relating to this. The permissions are ok for the database as news for example is adding as it should. As to the Fancy-NL files, I just left them as they were when I uploaded them.

Strange. I haven't had any problems, though I haven't used it much. I was able to create a newsletter and put in the database archive.
If you like, I could take a closer look - send a pm with FTP information. |
