Hiya,

I have a problem with the forum part in php nuke 7.6, even though the permissions are set to registered people are able to post using guest account.

I cannot seem to find anything about it, can anyone help me?

Thanks

You need to go into the Admin panel, then Forums modules administration. Go to permissions under the Forum Admin heading and look up the permissions for each forum you have set up. Make sure it's set to registered only. On the advanced tab you can allow guests to read and view forums (the distinction between those two puzzles me) but not to post or do anything else. You need to look at all your forums here because they may not all be set the same way.

That's strange. I don't know if this could affect it but take a look in admin, preferences. There is a check box there for "allow anonymous to post". Make sure that's a no. And let us know if that changes it. And did you double check the advanced tab in that forums permissions and make sure that all the boxes are set the way you want?

Did you manage to fix this?

If not could you give us a link so we could have a look?
