When I checked my stats today, there were a TON of duplicate entries for the dates and months. Around 7 for each one I believe. Any idea what would cause this error? I'm running the 2.10.00 version of RavenNuke. |

I have a hack to mysql.php that captures mysql errors to a text file. I see a "ton" of mysql errors where hackers are trying to post something like what you are seeing against the statistics table. They always get a MYSQL server has gone away error message on my system. I've assumed it's because they are running a script from a server that MYSQL recognizes as "bad".
I can't say that's what your problem is but you might look in IP tracking or your log files to see if you see anything suspicious. It's certainly not beyond the realm of possibility that there are errors in the statistics module. We didn't do a lot of work on that for RN2.10 but there were some pretty glaring errors in similar modules such as weblinks and download. Burzi really doesn't know how to calculate an average ... I'm not joking about that either. |

When I googled it, I found some complains from around 2005, but no solutions to the problem.
We have a ton of guys trying to hack our site. Around 150 Filter attempts on average a day. It's crazy. |

I figured it's only 2 or 3 different people most of the time and they are just using some type of proxy server because the type of attack is generally always the same. |
