Attempted to link your news with and received message: There is a problem with the RSS file URL. I have linked several other news feeds without a problem and wonder whats going on here...... |

My 7.2 backend.php isn't working either. What did you do to fix yours?

You don't change the permissions on backend.php, you change ultramode.txt . I made an assumption that you all knew that. My bad .... |

This just helped me clear something up...
Not related to backend.php, but for posting articles I submit or users submit, mainfile.php opens ultramode.txt using fwrite();
Checked error logs and it can't open it in some cases (not all) if ultramode.txt permissions are opened up... so this is yet ANOTHER reason to chmod it. |
