Use phpMyAdmin and make sure that the user_level in the users table is set to 2. |

nope - i tried setting it to 2 ........no joy still no access to forums admin. If i switch back to 2.0.6 it works again. |

set to 2 - deleted cookies, logged out as admin .....logged back in ........still no access |

Well, it has to be 2, regardless, for Admin access, so that part is correct. I don't know what else is going on. |

it worked with 3 on 2.0.6 ......new changes for 2.0.8? Well for now i guess i have to revert back.

No. Admin access to PHPBB has always been a 2. If a 3 works for you then that's news to me  |
