Is this possible?

Greetings All,
I run a fishing website. I am trying to get more people to particapate and possibly raise a little funds....

I am on 6.9 now.....IF I upgrade to a version with the points system in it could a set it send the Newsletter ONLY to people with X amount of points? OR how about with X amount of points this week?

What I am thinking is I will provide the latest Intel on the fish...specific info...(who, what, where, with what and how) weekly through the newsletter. 2 ways to get the letter are to pay say $10.00 or have X amount of points THIS week from the site. Does that make sence?

Can this be done?

Don't see why it wouldn't work. Might take a little hacking to get it automated nicely but even that won't be too bad. Just have to try it and let us know if you run into any bumps. I have no idea what exactly the 7.2 subscriptions amounts to but I'd imagine it could do the rest with a little tweak if nothing else. Should be able to get a newsletter script setup to send to groups fairly easily. Might even be one that does this already?

Yep its a great idea.

Yep I'm sure that was the idea behind adding the points and subscriptions to enable exactly this sort of management.
