I would just like to add my thanks for a good nuke implementation.
I have (had) existing forums - phpBB2 ver 2.0.22. I wanted a CMS that would incorporate forums with no loss of users or data.
I started off installing Nuke 8.0... this install went ok except, for some reason, the phpBB side of things was showing a pretty old version, something ridiculous like 2.0.6... After a great deal of thought and forum searching, I abandoned this.
Next I took a look at nCo Nuke Ultra 7.6... this install also went ok but, after "patching" the forum code to the correct level and running evaders99's phpbb2nuke script, nuke no longer worked! My forums where there, I could see that the correct number of users and posts were present, but no-one could log in! And with nukecode.com being offline for 3 days now, this was no help!
Finally, I stumbled across Raven Nuke. Pleased to see this came with the correct version of phpBB - no patching required, nice! Installed ok, so far so good. Ran evaders99's script, went through clean. And everything is nice and rosy!
So, a big thankyou to Raven for a brilliant take on Nuke and to evaders99 for taking the pain out of migrating my forums!
