Fixed my forums problem but now when I add a block, It doesn't show up in the list.

Check your code for disallowed tags anything with java, iframe, script ect... will have to be hard coded into a block-myblock.php file.

Otherwise I dunno whats going on without more info.

I am simply trying to initialize the scrolling forums block. It just won't show. Once I scroll to the block, select it, then hit create block, it doesn't show up in the list.

Guess givin your ealier trouble I'd check the admin files aren't corrupt too.

Its probably safe to use Ravens patched distro to upgrade but I'd make a fresh backup of the databse just in case.

Six, I had my host reload saturday's back up and everything is fine now. Thanks for your help.

By the way, what are the vti_cnf files?
