OK, i got my VB into phpbb.

I then made a backup of the new converted bb sql and proceeded to restore it in my nuke site. Not working.

Please help. i even installed phpbb2.0.6 for the conversion as thats my nuke's phpbb version, but still a no go.

It sounds like it's timing out. Assuming that to be the case, you will need to use the instructions from this post of yours

Then you haven't set it up corectly. Unless you are using a drop table statement, the tables are probably not being replaced.

What I mean is, if nuke isn't changing then the big dump isn't overlaying the tables. If I were you I would try the other route - copy and paste 5000 lines at a time.

Get a good editor like textpad. It's shareware but it doesn't expire.

I need somone who is really good with MySQL and some free time to contact me ASAP.

My AIM = Typica1Cat

Long story short, you can login fine in the phpbb forums using the converted vb, but when i uploaded the users into the nuke site, noone of the passwords work.

It is very important that a solution be found.

Thanks
