FK Editor misconfig'd?

My editor isn't working on one website which has been upgraded a few times, the last was to rn2.02 with the editor off. Now I've upgraded it to rn2.1 and I want the editor on. Everything else is working, but not the editor.

Before I reinstall from scratch, perhaps there is something I missed. The rnconfig.php file has advancededitor=1, the files are all in their directories, and it should work, it works on my other sites.

There are no errors in the logs, just no editor in any of the places there should be an editor, like prefs and new story.

Any ideas? Something I could check?

If you're using 2.02, make sure that all the files were replace (including admin.php, mainfile.php and the admin/modules and modules/xxx files in the experimental / addon directory. It's more than just the includes/FCKeditor and setting the $advancededitor variable.

maybe you need to look in rnconfig.php

$advanced_editor = 1; // 0=Editor is turned OFF, 1=Editor is turned ON

default is OFF
