Hey All
I followed the instructions to the letter and i tried to put my username and password in and i cant access my ACP! I have to use the CGAuth and I also resent my HTTP Auth Username & Password to my email address... so i know what im putting in is correct it just isnt accepting it...
Untill I get this sorted I cant do nothing with my site
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!

The CGIauth setup can be tricky. I've found that I have to slow myself way down and just follow the instructions VERY MUCH STEP BY STEP, even where they appear to my logic to be counterintuitive. Behind the scenes the setup program is doing some very intricate steps for you and you just have to rely on it.
If it gets screwed up you can just edit the lines out of htaccess so it doesn't look for the cgauth and get in and start over. |

So is there much point in using it or not seeming as i have changed the admin filename anyway. |

OK I have completly locked myself out of the ACP! LMFAO Even if i change: http_auth to 0 in phpmyadmin i still cant get access... Do I have to do a complete re-install now?

nope dont worry, i just replaced both files with the originals and i can get access... I'm just wondering if this could be a bug or summit coz i suppose my site is open to hax now isnt it? |

no bug, just that admin auth with cgi can be a tad tricky. Like fkelly said, just following the instructions in the docs, carefully. |

pdi-doc, sounds to me like you may have overwritten your original .staccess file? (The original issue that is.) Were you upgrading from RavenNuke 2.02.02 or did you migrate from a different nuke version? |
