Hi All!
I am curious as to if and to what extent the new captcha is configurable. Can we define things like number of characters, upper and lower case, numbers, etc? Can we configure it to have less noise?
Regards,

I seem to recall that there are a whole host of options, including even an audio captcha. So, you will have to play with it and let us know.
yes, I know, we'll have to get 2.10 out the door first... (please don't ask! lol) |

Which will come out first?
Duke Nukem Forever or 2.10
Just kidding guys, you do great work, and I don't think enough of us thank you for it! Perhaps next time around for 2.20 you take a page from the 3D Realms page and just say it will be released when its finished, so you don't blow deadlines, and have people constantly asking when it's going to be released. |

I am getting a flood of forum, comment and weblink spams on a number of different sites and I think the solution would be a new captcha as they already figured out how to register automatically. So, if 2.10 is "definitely" going to be out in two weeks, I can wait. If it is probably May or June, then I will probably work on an interim solution like an extra captcha when submitting forum posts, weblinks, etc.

see the sentinel 2.5 forum for details about this latest threat. It is something that we are all experiencing. And my hunch is...the latest delay on the release is something to do with this. |
