Is there an easier way to set the home page to not have something marked as "PUT IN HOME"?
I ended up removing the index.php file from the TOP module (which I don't use) and then editing the index.php file to not show the [b]"define("_HOMEPROBLEMUSER","There is a problem right now on the Homepage. Please check back later.");" [b] error message (towards the end of the bottom).
Except for a theme issue (a small white bar is showing) this seems to work. But is there a better way? |

I guess I would ask why you don't want something displayed when your users enter your site? In any event, just build a bogus module with an index.php file that is blank. |

The only negative feedback I'm getting is that the home page is "too busy". So what I have now is what everyone likes (and I have to admit I like it too).
I replaced the stock news module with the news module I prefer so I sitll get news items sorted by date - just on a different screen.
And "duh" for your suggestion - that's what I get for working on this late at night. |
