Need an item database module

I am looking for a module that will allow me to maintain a database of items.

This items are sig items that people have created.

This is what I envision:

User entry of items. Users can enter items into the DB.

All I need is a field for name and description. The description area will need to be able to show pictures and text.

Names will start with numbers or letters.

Database is searchable and also shows alphabetically.

I am looking for something very similar to the Encyclopedia module. I would use it but the Encyclopedia module doesn't list anything that starts with numbers and I don't see anyway for registered users to add items into it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also if you know of a standalone database that will do the same thing I can link to it under a subdomain. either will work.

I used an earlier version of that module as cheat modul but there are many different options. The newest version is 2.5.
