what could be the possible cause for me and the other members geting Turtle loads

quite often , i am lost , i know jaded said that the

brianpecker block (game server monitor) was way wrong so i deleted that.

and ya know the old adage ...long than 7 seconds and people wont stay ...thats the problem also.

bugsTHoR, something you may want to consider, if you have the technical skills to do so, is when your site goes and gets data from another site, if it really does not need to be real-time, cache the information and refresh it only after so much time has elapsed. That can help alot, if you still need those external pulls of data.

well funny you should mention that , the site is loading far faster after i got rid of the
google search (block) on index.and created game monitor and player stats pages (html).

also we do have alot of files and video links from the online storage sites ( filefront, google vid) imageshack, i was thinking of hosting people`s avatar / signatures instead of it coming from elswhere. i installed the uploadit 3 , and its working ok.

as for cache i have tried installing cache light but been geting faults on the test site, i`ve been redoing the edits needed incase i missed something instead of bothering you all, when i can just RTFM . and with brand new html / php 5/mysql books i baught last week. ..finaly. to run it off my second system for speed.

but thx montego for the input sry this is like a manual

no problem. good luck! I definitely am a firm believer in you learn more by doing than by just having someone feed you the code, so happy:
