Has anyone else experienced modules disappearing from the Admin menu in Nuke 6.9?

I renamed my Web_Links folder in the root/Modules directory to see if problems reported elsewhere were waranted, I refreshed my site to ensure the new module name appeared (lets call it OLDWeb_Links) and it didn't, so I renamed it back to its original name of Web_Links and it is completely gone from the site!

The Web_Links link doesnt appear on the home-page or in the list of modules in the Admin section.
I tried logging out and back in, clearing cache etc but to no avail.
I canot find anything obviously wrong, unlke some of the other reported bugs with 6.9 - anyone have any thoughts?

Hmmm. it seems that this is a carryover. Just for fun Smile, use phpMyAdmin and goto the modules table. Delete the weblinks entry. then see if it appears in the Module Admin panel. You might also check the inmenu flag on the table. If it's zero, try setting it to 1.

Sorry it has been a long time since my last visit, things have been a bit hectic.

As you rightly suggested, the problem lay with the inmenu field not updating itself. I went in and changed it manually.
The same problem has occured a couple of times since and I have no real idea of what the root cause is but, I have a sneaking suspicion it was my hosts overloaded served taking too long to execute the change.

They upgraded a few days after my last post and I have had no recurrance of the problem since.
