Installing nuke 7.01 FRESH in
I now have several nuke data bases in my PHP my admin.
When I apply the upgrade68-69.php file it ONLY will upgrade what ever data base it finds in that particular directory?
I’m this case, I have TWO nukes running. My 6.9 and a FRESH 6.8 I installed from CPANEL.
1. Public_html <--- Old working 6.9
2. Public_html/2004 <--- The upgrade only affects the data base defined in this config.php?
After a day like yesterday, I have decided to have two nukes going while I upgrade.
I’m sorry if I’m not clear. I don’t want the upgrade script to attack my data base again.
Only upgrade the second Nuke in the 2004 folder SQL file.
Thanks.

YES
The nuke at the is version 6.0 not 7.1 . If you want 7.1 get a copy and upload it and run the SQL that comes with it. No need to do the upgrades on a fresh install. |

I have the new version and I flunked over and over upgrading.
Wrecked my data base. Lost my home page for a day.
Had admin restore from backups.
I was going to upgrade from the 6.0 thats auto install from CPANEL.
Its the only way I have EVER got nuke to run.
I was going to upgrade all the way to 7.1 and then remove the data base and install my
I dont think i have any idea what i am doing... |

In order to do an upgrade you are required to upload all the files from 7.1 overwriting your old files. Do Not run the nuke.sql run only the upgrade files. If you are upgrading from 6.9 to 7.1 you would need to run upgrade69_70 then upgrade70_71 |

On a FRESH install of pure 7.01 I get this error
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /html/admin.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. |

Ok, I CHMOD the folder to 755 and its a blank page.
Pure stock 7.01 for testing. So I can learn how to do this. |
