How to remove old Data tables from 6 for new install 7.01?

In the past year I have installed about 20 custom modules.

I uploaded nuke 7.01 fixed and have not connected to my data base with it.

All I want to do is some house cleaning. Can I strip out the forms tables from my 6.9 and transfer the Users and forms data to my virgin 7.01 SQL file?

Or is it a better idea to just install everything Upgrade to 7.01 and look in my tables for the extra junk that I have installed over the year that are not being used?

*Main concern is security and killing off the blocks and their various data tables that my users had no interest in.*

I am removing all unwanted modules from 7.01.

I’m going back to stock to see if it speeds my page along.

What’s the best way to do some house cleaning?

*Data Base backed up*
Nuke 6.9 in public_html connected to 6.9 SQL File.

7.01 Installed in /root named Public_7.01_Html

Upgrade 6.9 - 7.0
Upgrade 7.0 - 7.1

That's the Best way.
