This is a weird one which is driving me nuts.
I have four sites all built within 2 or 3 weeks of each other using your V7 distro.
All of them have your Site Info block activated but only two of them show the latest member, the other two have a blank space.
I feel it must be something to do with the db but all were created the same way with your distro sql file.
They all use the same theme -fiapple.
I am at my wits end here.
Ron...
PS I notice your site info block here has
when you hover over the latest member whereas the block in your distro has
I know this is not the problem just mentioning it for interest's sake. |

Addressing your PS/Hover question: I have GT (Google Tap) - The distro does not.
Are you, perchance, using the Random Photo Block on the sites having the problem? |

Yes, Raven, I am using the Random Photo Block from Coppermine.
And that's the problem/solution! I turned off the RPB and Latest Member is back.
How does that happen?
I would NEVER in a million years have worked that one out.
Is there a fix for it? I have tried a couple of other Site/Visitor blocks and they don't seem to be affected the same way but I prefer yours.
Cheers,
Ron..... |

As I said in that thread, my guess is that there is a like named variable collision. I haven't had time to look into it. |

Found the thread. Sorry about that.
I don't have much luck with the phpbb search function. It seems you have to know the answer when you ask your questions.
Thanks for you help.

Regards,
Ron.... | I plan on incorporating a much smarter search engine. It will be based on fuzzy logic matches, of course! |
