Something strange is happening to my users' signatures. Here is an example: I have a user who's signature should look like this:

Eknight

Kreblar (Goreblade)
20 Troll Hunter
Pet: Crocolisk
Main Att: Agility

However, it's showing up in posts as:

<div align="left">Eknight<br />

<br />

Kreblar (Goreblade)<br />

20 Troll Hunter<br />

Pet: Crocolisk<br />

Main Att: Agility<br />
</div>

What's going on here? I am running 7.8, but I'm not sure if it's patched.

Is your forums module configured to allow HTML in signatures? Are they changing the signature in the forums profile or in Your Account?

It looks fine in his profile. It shows up that way only in posts.

What about the forums configuration? Does it allow HTML?

Make sure they are doing it through the Forums Profile. The Your_Account signature looks like its messed up, esp with the WYSIWYG editor

Interesting...didn't think of adding WYSIWYG to the signature, but it's a textarea that allows HTML, so why not?

A different idea would be to modify Your Account to use the same logic for maintaining the signature as the forums profile - we should add that to the wish list!

HTML is allowed. How would I be able to fix the WYSIWYG editor?

Depends on what the problem is... If you're using the WYSIWYG editor on the signature in Your Account, well that won't work in the forums unless you modify Your Account to do the same logic on the signature before and after WYSIWYG touches it.

The forums generally does not use HTML. You can enable it, but you have to make sure all the HTML tags you want are included... and phpBB itself may filter your code
