I have a question, The way I understand it I can redistribute open source software and some I could sell if I wanted. I have a website based on PHP Nuke, I am running RavenNuke 76, I was wondering could I add RavenNuke to my downloads section along with other popular PHP nuke addons does this violate anything Thanks

Please read Raven's distribution files. He specifically asks for you to point your download to his download page and not host this download directly. Since it is GPL, you are free to do what you want (within the guidlines), but the right thing to do is respect the wishes of the "author"...

To supplement what Montego said, aside from being the right thing to do it is the intelligent thing to do. Raven maintains the distribution. At any point he might make a correction to a f ile. He may or may not put a notice about the correction out. Even if he did you may or may not notice it. You'll have an outdated copy of the files and people will be downloading them and dealing with the issues that are corrected at the source. Or Raven may create a new distribution that supercedes the old, but leave the old for archival purposes. You may not see that and you'll leave the old one without the new one and people visiting your site will think they are getting the most current.

So just put a link to the source. It saves you disk space and bandwidth and it's best for the users too.
