I have installed phpnuke,but no one can register,it seems it have some problem with mysql data,I was wondering if phpnuke needs an external mailserver? or what? dont know what to type in pop smtp settings cause I dont have a mailserver,Maybe I should install one? or is it builtin like in vbulletin? Hoping for som help:)

When you say that noone can register, do you mean that the registration script fails or do they get an email and then can't link back?
phpnuke, utilizes the mail() function of PHP. PHP uses the SMTP mail server that your host has. Are you hosting this yourself or do you have it hosted?
