Hello
I just happened to notice that the collapsing forums block is only displaying 3 posts? For some reason its not displaying the new forum posts?Ive run analyze on my server and everything is fine,my database tables are also showing the new forum posts, they just dont seem to show in the block?
Any thoughts on why it would only show some posts and not all?

This block uses the exact same selection logic as the scrolling forums block if I remember right. The only deselection criteria should be if the forum(s) in question are not available to VIEW ALL in permissions.

I'm getting a unknown runtime error after install. I've looked and don't see the answer after searching, but you know I'm blind....

I don't see any of the rorum post in the block. I get this error:
Quote:
Javascript Error
Description: unknown runtime error

I went and made sure I have only carriage returns where they should be.

Just noticed my little java clock is not running correctly. Could these two things be conflicting? But how is that if collapsing block runs on same format as scrolling block...........................................

Just to be sure I'm understanding correctly, list exactly what you're trying to do and what happens.

Use your collapsing block--which I have now disabled--
I continue to get a runtime error...
Thinking maybe I need a VBS update on this brand new machine??

There is no VBS involved Smile this is php and javascript. Javascript is an IE function. What version of IE are you using? That aside, when you get the error and it tells you the line number, do a View Source in Textpad or some editor that has line numbers and look at the line number and post the code and maybe a few lines on either side. I had looked at it quite a bit yesterday and no matter what I tried it worked correctly.

I'm using IE 6.02800...
I've opened the code for the block and checked it.
The error says it is in my index.php file--I've checked that as well---
I've looked at lines from all sides, but will look into it again and post later today.
It shows up, but with no post showing. Tries to open, looks like it expands a bit, but still I see no post.
Thanks Raven!
Once again--you ROCK
