Because of the utter and complete PHP-Nuke noob that I am, I need some help using the downloads module. I've searched for help but nothing seemed to answer my questions. Basically what I need to know is this: do I upload a file via FTP or throught the ACP? It wants me to put in a link but I dont know how that would work |

If this is the standard phpnuke downloads module, it is best to ftp the file to your server.
You can obviously fill in the download form data with a url, the file doesn't have to be uploaded first but the link won't work until you do. |

Obviously you will need to change the '.zip' part to whatever your file extension is.
Never use spaces in file names (I know yours was just an example but someone might read this in 10 years and not realise). |
