adsplus module

Hi Raven,

Not sure if this is the right forum but I am looking for a good advertising module to use with your nuke distro and I was thinking of purchasing pcnuke's adplus package. It says its designed to run on all versions of pcnuke and nuke 7.7 I know ravennuke is based upon 7.6 but I didn't know if there is any fundamental changes in your version that could effect adplus from working and how different 7.6 is to 7.7. Would you know of anything of hand?

7.7 and higher includes the TinyMCE editor. In 7.7 and 7.8, the security against bad html was disabled - that's right, disabled - to support the editor. Attempts were made to recover it in 7.9, and changes were made to the admin functions. 7.7 was an interim version that introduced a new banner system that was refined in 7.8.

Since you're looking at advertising, it's important to know what alternatives you considered and what features you require. There are several addons that support improvements over the default banner system.

As for Ad Plus working with RavenNuke, most likely it will, but you may need to make some minor modifications to the module index.php file or other files, depending on which level of the Patched Series it supports. If you're purchasing it, you should expect support from the vendor to make any changes required to work with RN.
