i didn't see that part, what do i do now?

no i didn't see that. I've managed to unblock me, but how do i protect myself from it happening again?

Log in ad admin and got to the Senitnel Administration area.

At the top midle of the page you will see the link to 'Scan for New Admins' click that.
When the page has refreshed, just above that last link you will see 'Admin Auth List' - click that.

When the page refreshes, you should see your admin user account listed under the menu.

To the far right in the row that has your name, click the link on the far right (if you hover your mouse it will say 'edit').

When the page refreshes, make sure the username and paswword are correct, the from the drop down at the bottom, select ''Is Protected' and save.

You may need to (a) delete your blocked IP from the htaccess file and also (b) from the nsnst_blocked_ips table before you can do what Guardian suggested. Then step thru the setup instructions carefully.
