themes not geting 100% width (with photo)

hey jaded you any good with the cobalt theme?

we are running that one again since i took down the problem 4779 theme,

got a couple of problems with that one if you can suggest anything please.

public messages not displaying after sending,

and wondered if you can explain how to get a wider log.gif to work than standard one, i think it is 350x110 pixels, anything more pushes page width out to the right?

we may stick with the cobalt theme if we can mod it to look better or similar to the 4779 theme,

nice if we could have a full width image in the header. and sort the public messages out to display, i'm sure it is the header.php causing the problem, but fairly new to this game so a bit lame and rely on you guru's

any good with menalto photo gallery? all installed but unless i add the full page width hack code to the theme.php it's right over to the right side pushing the width out,
