I don't really see a financial incentive here. Mostly I don't do code fixes for people because my time is worth more doing something else.
As to support, I try to point people in the right direction, but its really is up to them to learn something, or pay someone else to do it

Well, nuke is after-all only a solution for those that want to provide content, so the majority of people have problems that they'd like fixed without having to learn the dirty little details. I dunno about 'incentive' but you're right if you think there's no money in supporting Nuke, I mean if there was, FB would do it.... but one thing at a time, let's get him to apply the fixes that everyone's already made first.
