file that is needed to edit profile

First off, this isn't a 7.7 issue, but I keep having my stuff moved here, so I'll save someone the effort.

I've decided (since I've been told several times that it will work) to install a custom mod - Custom Title

I've edited the files and ran the sql, but the weirdest thing happened - I lost forums.html&file=profile&mode=editprofile

What file renders this? I want to check the code and make sure it isn't something I did. I've somehow come to the conclusion that it was admin_users.php, but not sure.

Chapter and verse, please. If your posts have continually been moved here in error, then I will correct that. I can't see where that has happened. We often times aggregate by the nuke version when the poster mentions the nuke version in their post(s) because it could be a pervasive issue to that release only.

Seriously though, I've posted 2-3 things in the phpbb section and they get moved to the nuke 7.7 or 7.6 or whereever - when I seriously thought they were phpbb issues to start with.

Heard of the issue though? This is puzzling me.

Was that the custom title mod for the forums or is that a Your_Account mod?

Also, where in your site is the URL function breaking? In the Your_Account module or in the Forums?

custom title mod for the forums (from codezwiz) - the Your_Account module works fine - the editprofile of the Forums Profile is breaking.

Ok, that let's me know where to point you. Take a second look at the edits that you made to the following files:

includes/page_header.php
modules/Forums/templates/subSilver/overall_header.tpl
themes/YOUR_THEME/forums/overall_header.tpl

These are the files that handle the links such as Private Messages :: Members List :: Edit Profile

It is quite possible that one of your edits (or lack therof) may have botched things.

EDIT: I even removed the custom title switch - didn't make a difference.

I think I will - I was leary about that specific file since it was so long - I could very well have messed up something in there. I'll leave it for the morning when I'm back at work.

By the way, if you want some more BBtoNuke mods, you can grab quite a few from my site as well. I have been porting/updating ones that I want and making them available for others. Plus I have many of the others that were ported by other folks.

That problem is fixed, however, a new one cropped up and it belongs to a file that I've not even messed with.

When sending a PM or replying to a post, sometimes this appears:

It only happens every once in a while, so hopefully it was a fluke - it happens only when sending a PM or posting a message - but, technically, it shouldn't be giving this error at all.

Apparently, I'm not the only one -

Only registered users can see links on this board!
Get registered or login to the forums!

I think what the deal is this:

When someone posts something (in response to) or sends a private message and the email notification is set up to notify people that a response has been made or they've received a private message - that's what's NOT happening now. Instead an error message pops up.

only the Custom title and the bbcodebox mods - nothing to do with emailer.php

EDIT: right now I'm checking to see if it is server-related rather than site related.
