Hey, I've got Tracked IPs on, and 62 IPs are showing up under the username anonymous. I know that at least 12 different users have logged on in the recent day, and I want to know why their usernames are not being associated with the IPs properly and are being put down as anonymous.

Not too sure what to provide other than that, besides NukeSentinel is version 2.1.1 and I believe I'm running phpnuke 6.9.

Any help?

It will report them as Anonymous until they login. Once logged in it will start reporting them under their username. It will not go back to the records before they login and change them from Anonymous to their username. Doing this would eat up a ton of load time and processor usage.

Very well, but how do you explain the fact that I have been running IP Tracking for the last 3 days on a website that sees about 23 different users per 3 days and all I have are IPs filed under the username anonymous and no IPs filed under a single username? I have tried logging in and logging out, and I still don't show up on there.

I get the same thing, Sentinel with IP2C 212 760, phpnuke 7.6 patch 28. In addition I get:

Code:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare opentable() (previously declared in D:\Apache2\htdocs\Nuke76-28\html\themes\Eos\tables.php:15) in D:\Apache2\htdocs\Nuke76-28\html\themes\Eos\tables.php on line 14

when I attempt to print out tracked users. It's the same error on other themes.

After more tinkering I got rid of the errors listed above by loading the preferred php.ini instead of default (php 4.3.10). I'm beginning to think that the tracked IPs of user names showing up as anonymous might be a php problem.

ReFTP all files. If you updated from a previous version of NS, then rerun the nsnst.php file, step-by-step, as if you hadn't. Don't worry about any error messages. Also, make sure there are no traces (files) of any earlier version of NS. If that still doesn't work, drop all tables that start with nsnst_ and run nsnst.php and do a first time installation.

It's not your English Smile - That's all in the installation instructions and you only want/need to use that if you are not using Chat's patchlevel 2.9 and above.

Neither of these posts address usernames not being tracked. I tested on several sites including NukeScripts and the usernames are tracking correctly. I've even cleared teh tracked ips database table to make sure it's reading the username correctly.

I realize this is an old issue, but I'm still having the problem and am unclear as to what I should do to resolve it after reviewing this post. I'm currently running NukeSentinel 2.2.1...
