I am setting up a forum for one of my users to "Moderate". When i attempt to do so, i get the following error:

Couldn't update private forum permissions

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax near ' 1)' at line 2

INSERT INTO nuke_bbauth_access (forum_id, group_id, auth_mod) VALUES (35, , 1)

Line : 425
File : /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/porcupinepc.com/httpdocs/forums/modules/Forums/admin/admin_ug_auth.php

Any assistance is much appreciated.

Joe

just a little addition:

I tried to list myself as moderator of some forums and i received the same error. I can't assign Moderator status to anyone including myself.

Hold on to your hat for this procedure! This is how I do it.

Forum Administration:
Create a group called Moderator
Go to Group permission Control and select which forums your Moderator group will have by default.

Next, when in your forum you should see a link or a tab to UserGroups. Select that. Then select View Information. Then you will see Add Member.

Piece of cake, huh? Laughing
