Help with theme

First, thanks to Jade for taking it upon herself to do this for me. This is one of the above and beyond situations I was talking about.
Nukeum, I said in an earlier post to just stop, I've such a yuck taste in my mouth from the darn thing I could never use it. You probably could not hear me from all the ranting and raving I was doing.

Dear Raven and all the phpnuke experts,

We downloaded the theme EV-GRAFIX. It runs smoothly except that we could not make any left or right blocks appear.

We modified the mainfile.php based on the author's instruction.

function blocks($side) {
global $storynum, $prefix, $multilingual, $currentlang, $dbi, $admin, $user;

REPLACED WITH

function blocks($side) {
global $storynum, $prefix, $multilingual, $currentlang, $dbi, $admin, $user, $block_side;

AND

if ($multilingual == 1) {
$querylang = "AND (blanguage='$currentlang' OR blanguage='')";
} else {
$querylang = "";
}

REPLACED WITH

if ($multilingual == 1) {
$querylang = "AND (blanguage='$currentlang' OR blanguage='')";
} else {
$querylang = "";
}

$side = strtolower($side[0]); // linea agregada
$block_side = $side; // linea agregada

So far even with these lines replaced, we still cannot see any block eventhough they are activated in the phpnuke admin.

Also, based on the last instruction, we put the following files to the phpnuke blocks folder.

1. block-phpBB2_Main_Menu.php <-- Este blocke podria remplazar al block-modules tradicional es mucho mas estetico. Optmizado para el theme actual.

2. block-Modules.php <-- Optimizado para el theme
3. block-packs_Downloads.php <-- Este blocke lo pones en la parde derecha.

Could anyone give us a professional advice? We just want to have the blocks appear on the sides just like the right block on the

payne, did you ever get this to work? I just found the theme in my download directory and it appears that the author's site is down for good now........
