Nukesentinel

I got a problem with sentinel. yesterday i was busy on HP and i thought to make sentinel how it is on the adminpage open for everyone to see. But after i did this i didnt like it and wanted deactivated from Homepage. In my modules admin i cant stop it and its not in my blockconfigurration. how can i stop this?
its in middle off

I can't see Sentinel anywhere on you homepage.

If you can´t find it check your database with phpMyadmin go to nuke_modules click view and deactivate Nuke Sentinel directly there.

Yeh srry i was busy on it yesterday and i fix it by accident:P
the reason was that i went from NEWS to Nukesentinel and yesterday i wanted to add news on HP and it said 'Want to change back from Sentinel to News?' so that was the problem. thnx anyway for ur replies Wink

I tried but i thought if i deactivated it theyre whole Nukesentinel doesnt work Crying or Very sad

Nukesentinel is for security only and should be left set to inactive in the modules administration.

You can activate the nukesentinel blocks, but these are just there as a potential deterrent to any hackers. These can be turned on and off in the blocks administration area.

I am still not seeing NS anywhere on your homepage.

Don´t worry NukeSentinell will still block with set in the nuke_ modules active to 0 and view set to 2 (admins only) for example. Your problem is you need to change News and NukeSentinel through the database if you can´t edit it in the modules administration. Should be easy.

I ´ve seen mans sites and they had the module active but of course not like you in the mainpage. However it makes sense to show it to admins only.

Create a new block if you haven´t done it and choose one of the NukeSentinel blocks blocks you prefer. Show links to admins only within this block is recommended. You can change this directly in the NS administration.

If I may make a suggestion. Do NOT add anything of that nature where everyone can see it. It's like telling the kids where the cookie jar is located. Wink
